We are pleased to announce the dates for our Tesco, Marks Farm, collection weekend.
Since November 2015 we have given out more food than we have received, so we urgently need to stock the warehouse and without your generosity we would not be able to continue our hard work, feeding those in need.
The collection dates are
- Thursday 30th June
- Friday 1st July – no spaces available
- Saturday 2nd July
The Foodbank also needs financial donations to help to keep it running. The cost of running the Foodbank each year is between £30 – £40,000 a year. These costs include the maintenance and running costs of our delivery van which distributes the food to the centers which is vital to feed the clients.
Do you have any time on these days that you could help us with?
At Tesco we require the following help
- Could you donate some of your time between 9am and 5pm?
- Would be able to supply drivers for a morning shift and and afternoon shift?
- Would you be able to supply some time in the warehouse from 11am until 5pm?
You can also take the opportunity to make your own independent donations during this time and we would love to see you. It can also be an opportunity for you to find out more about how we operate and who we help.
