Braintree Area Foodbank would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the churches, groups and schools for all their efforts in donating just over 5 tonnes of food for Harvest Festival.
Harvest Festival is one of the main sources of food donations that Braintree Area Foodbank relies on each year to replenish its warehouse stocks and this year is no different. They have seen an increase of nearly 20%* in the number of new people needing our help and stocks are running low as we are not getting in as much food as we are giving out. This is why the generosity of those who hold a Harvest Festival event is so vital to our survival.
