It doesn’t matter whether you’re a superstar baker or prefer to buy – it’s your event. Sweet or savoury, fondant fancy or fresh fruit, dunk or not to dunk! Simply have fun.
Whether you host a tea party in the garden, in the office, outside the village hall, at your place of worship, at school, or in your front garden for your neighbours to enjoy. Come together to raise money and help us support those who need us most.
Steps to host a tea party
1. Plan
Start planning your event by choosing a date, time and location. Thinking about how you'd like to sort the catering and who you'd like to invite!
2. Spread the word
Invite your guests on the phone, send out social media messages, emails, or put up flyers in the office. Don't forget to share the link to your fundraising page if you've created one!
3. Raise money and have fun
Put the kettle on, dish out the cakes and enjoy a day of games and snacks with your guests. Ask your guests for donations directly to your fundraising page, or pay in offline donations after your event.
Paying in money after your event
If you've created a fundraising page through JustGiving your guests can make donations on the page, and the money will be sent directly to us.
If you received directly to you in cash or through the bank, you can pay them in using one of our many options.
